I will attend the Institute for Arts and Humanities Emerging Writers Cafe on December 5th, 2016, at Hyde Hall on the campus of UNC-Chapel Hill.
I will lead a workshop in parasol history and construction at Indiana University in spring of 2017. (Dates TBA.)
Third Tuesdays: I may often be found at the Triangle Regional Chapter meetings of the NC Writers Network, held at the Chapel Hill Library from 6pm-8pm.

I presented a lecture and a workshop session at the USITT-Southeast Regional Conference for theatre technology. I also sold and signed copies of my textbook, Sticks in Petticoats: Parasol Manufacture for the Modern Costumer.
